a) the “Covering letter”, including following points:

The author confirms that the material is original, is not submitted elsewhere, does not contain classified facts, figures, etc. As well, the author agrees that the submission of a manuscript implies the transfer of the copyright for the accepted article to the journal. The Journal uses the copyright to create a high-quality English translation of the original text and thus to make a separate finished material (according to the copyright law). Since this moment the copyright for translation belongs to the Journal, but  the author retains the right to disseminate his/her own initial material in Russian.       

b) One-two Referee reports (according to established format) from appropriate referees who have not been associated with the work or research being submitted, although the Editors will not be bound by such reviewers.

c) Brief biographical sketch, plus a recent CV with e-mail contact information.

Submissions selected by the editorial committee are peer reviewed (2 to 3 reviewers). The review period is up to 1 month. The edited manuscript will subsequently be returned to the author for a rewrite period if necessary that should not exceed 2 weeks.

All manuscripts, in English or in Russian, will be considered, corrected, if necessary, or translated. Text should have font size 12, be single-spaced in MS-Word program with a left-hand margin of 30 mm. The length of the text body supposes not to exceed 6500 words in 6-10 A4 pages. Optimally less than 12 printed A4pages including tables, photos, illustrations, formulas, diagrams and graphs. Although articles longer than 6000 words will be accepted on an occasional basis, if the topic demands this length of treatment.

The text manuscript should be accompanied with an abstract (270-350 words), keywords (averagely 7-12 in any sequence) and a list of references at the end. A detailed abstract is preferable because it helps the readers to find a publication in data bases in simpler and quicker way.

References, appended to the end of articles, are listed and numbered in the sequence corresponding to the order of citation in the text. The citations should be indicated by the reference number in brackets at the end of the sentence. Multiple citations within a single set of brackets should be separated by commas. Where there are three or more sequential citations, they should be given as a range.

Additional information such as photos, illustrations, diagrams and graphs, if any, should be referred to as figures and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and appended after the reference list or submitted in separate files in any format that allows to make changes in them, such as translations of internal explanations, and with clear indication of where the author would like to place figures within the text. Ensure that bitmap images, such as scans or digital photographs must have resolution at least 300 dpi. All equations and mathematical formulas should be typewritten. Equations should be numbered serially on the right-hand side by Arabic numerals in parentheses.

Footnotes are to be avoided, but if necessary they must be numbered consecutively in the text and typed under a horizontal line at the foot of the page concerned.

When using an acronym or abbreviation in the manuscript, please spell it out in full for the first time.

All measurements should be given in the metric system. When other units of measure are preferred, authors should include metric equivalents. In a sentence overloaded with numbers it is permissible to give certain categories in numerals and others in words. Avoid starting a sentence with a numeral. 

The following format is required for bibliographic citations: 

Books: Author, A. A. Title of work: Capital letter also for subtitle. Place published: Publisher. Year of publication

Non-English book: Author, A. A. Title of work. Place published: Publisher (native language). Year of publication. [The data mentioned above in transliteration]. Translation.
