The service is focused on the delivery of goods from Volga manufacturers to the Far East, as well as for export to the countries of East and Southeast Asia.
The FESCO transport group has launched a new FESCO Volga Shuttle (eastbound) rail service on the route Samara – Vladivostok. The containers depart from the Bezymyanka station and arrive at the Commercial Sea Port of Vladivostok (VMTP, part of FESCO), the press service of the group said.
The basis of the service’s cargo flow is consumer goods, building materials, non-ferrous metal and plastic products.
Containers are transported in groups without long-term accumulation at the station in Samara, in the future it is planned to send full trains.
The service is focused on the delivery of goods from the Volga region to the Far East of Russia, as well as for export to the countries of East and Southeast Asia within the framework of intermodal routes and regular shipping lines of the group.
FESCO Volga Shuttle (eastbound) complements the existing rail service operating on the route Vladivostok – Samara.
The first batch of containers within the FESCO Volga Shuttle (eastbound) with domestic and export cargo departed from Bezymyanka station on August 7th.
