14 vessels of the company are also included in the sanctions list
Sakhalin Shipping Company (SakhMP, SASCO) was included in the new US sanctions list published by the country’s Department of the Treasury on July 20, 2023. The list also includes 14 vessels of the company and Vanino-Sakhalin Sea Ferry Lines LLC and Vostok Trade Invest JSC related to the shipping company. In addition, personal sanctions, in particular, were imposed on Vasily Osmakov, First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Pavel Sorokin, First Deputy Minister of Energy of the RF, and Pavel Snikkars, Deputy Minister of Energy. The list also includes banks – Tinkoff, Solidarity, Unistrem, and Loko-Bank.
As PortNews wrote, earlier on July 20, 2023, Australia updated the sanctions list. In total, more than 1,100 individuals and legal entities fell into it, including Atomflot FSUE, Dalzavod Ship Repair Center JSC, Zelenodolsk Design Bureau JSC, Central Research Institute of Structural Materials Prometey, Central Design Bureau Lazurit JSC.
