The boat can transport up to 6 tons of products in one trip

A franchisee of the Pyaterochka retail chain in Yakutsk has launched a specialized cargo airboat for grocery delivery, capable of traveling on both water and ice. This was announced on the website of the X5 corporate center.
“The airboat is equipped with a special thermal cabin that maintains a temperature of +4°C for transporting perishable goods and is designed for operation in harsh northern conditions and temperatures down to -60°C. The vessel features reinforced hydraulics and an engine warm-up system, as well as an additional cabin for a second crew member. The hull is made of inflatable balloons reinforced with special plastic protection, and the superstructure is made of sandwich panels. The vessel’s river voyage takes approximately 40 minutes,” the announcement states.
Plans include launching a second airboat by autumn, which will increase the frequency of deliveries and improve the sustainability of logistics.
