The construction of a high-speed river-sea passenger vessel, the “Flamingo 2330” is among the announced projects 

The Primorsky Territory government will allocate over 1.2 billion rubles to a new state industrial development program for 2026–2030.

The shipbuilding and ship repair cluster, registered in Primorsky Territory, unites five companies: Pacific Shipyards LLC, Varyag Plant PJSC, Briz Pump LLC, Soyuz-Remont JSC, and Askold JSC. Cluster participants are eligible for special regional support programs. 

This is the first industrial cluster registered in Primorsky Territory.

Two new high-speed vessel designs, Flamingo and Pelican, developed by the design bureau “AN Marine Consulting,” involve the construction of vessels using domestically produced materials and a design that allows for landing at unprepared shores and eliminates certain operating depth restrictions.

The “Shipbuilding and Composites” shipyard, which produces commercial vessels from composite materials in Primorye, manages overall construction activities.

Flamingo and Pelican vessels use modern, innovative materials. The hull, originally planned for fiberglass, is now made of aluminum-scandium alloy 1581, which improves strength and reduces overall weight up to 10%.
