Specialists have begun pouring the technological platform

At the construction site of the Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant (NMFP, Primorsky Krai), concreting of all eight sections of the terminal’s approach ramp has been completed and pouring of the process platform has begun.
It is noted that the facility meets all environmental safety requirements and is intended for the shipment of finished products.
“A closed and completely sealed transportation system will avoid the risk of methanol leaking into the environment. The finished methanol from the tank will go through the pipeline directly to the vessel for further shipment to consumers,” said Viktor Grebenyukov, executive director of NMFP.
The terminal will include a sewage pumping station for rainwater and a station for domestic wastewater, which completely eliminates pollution of the sea.
The construction of the marine terminal began in September 2023. Its capacity will reach 1,400 tons per hour. The length will be 424 m, the area of the water area is 38.3 thousand square meters. It will be able to receive up to 105 vessels annually, including tankers with a deadweight of 50 thousand tons and vessels with a deadweight of 4 thousand tons. The terminal will also be equipped with a telescopic gangway and a laser mooring system. This will allow receiving vessels up to 195 m long and with a capacity of up to 53 thousand tons, with a draft of up to 13 m.
The planned cargo turnover of the terminal is 1.8 million tons of finished products per year.
