The Primorsky Interregional Office of “Rosselkhoznadzor” federal agency registered 105.2 thousand tons of grain and processed grain products for export from Primorsky Krai in March 2025. For the first time since the beginning of the year, the largest amount of grain was declared for deliveries to China. Previously, South Korea was the leader among countries importing grain products from Russian Far East, the press service of the department reports.

In particular, 47.8 thousand tons of grain and processed products were registered for export to China in March: 25.1 thousand tons of soybeans, 9.9 thousand tons of corn, 8.6 thousand tons of sunflower meal, almost 2 thousand tons of wheat, as well as batches of peas, soybean cake, food rapeseed and flax seeds. Compared to February 2025, grain exports to China increased by 1.5 times.

In addition, grain supplies to Japan and Vietnam have also increased. Thus, 7.8 thousand tons of corn were cleared for export to Japan (a month earlier – 4.6 thousand tons), 12.2 thousand tons of wheat to Vietnam (in February – 9.5 thousand tons).

37.4 thousand tons of grain and processed products were cleared to South Korea: 22.7 thousand tons of corn, 14.6 thousand tons of wheat and 200 tons of food flax seeds.

Small consignments of buckwheat, pearl barley, barley groats and millet were cleared for export to Australia.
