Both workers and engineers are needed
The need for personnel in shipbuilding by 2030 is estimated at 80 thousand people, taking into account plans to increase ship production. As a PortNews correspondent reported, such data were presented during the II All-Russian Maritime Congress by the head of the Russian Presidential Administration for National Maritime Policy, Sergei Vakhrukov. According to him, this applies to both workers and engineering specialties.
“It is extremely important for us, on the part of the state, to create a system of training personnel for the maritime industry with the support of large companies. We will move this forward in the near future,” the official said.
