The Fesco transport group has entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Transport of Russia to participate in the development of the National Digital Transport and Logistics Platform of the Russian Federation (NDTLP).

The signing of a multilateral agreement took place within the framework of the “Digital Transportation” forum. The document was signed by Fesco Vice President for Information Technologies Dmitry Surovets and Deputy Minister of Transport Dmitry Bakanov, as well as Director of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association Polina Davydova and representatives of six transport companies and organizations.

NDTLP will combine digital logistics services of key Russian cargo carriers on one platform and provide seamless cargo logistics. In addition, a unified ecosystem will simplify interaction between participants in transportation processes and eliminate paper documents. It is also planned that FESCO will take part in pilot projects as part of the creation of the NDTLP.

“FESCO manages dozens of ships, more than one hundred and seventy thousand containers, thousands of rolling stock units. We need modern digital solutions for all this to work smoothly and effectively. One of these is the management & control system for the Commercial Port of Vladivostok, innovative for Russia. The introduction of such tools allows us to significantly speed up work with cargo, which is beneficial for both clients and us,” said Mr. Surovets.
