The “Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company” (VSK, part of the “Global Ports” holding of the “Delo” group of companies) container terminal in the Vostochny port received nine new high-performance container cranes on rails and wheels (RMG and RTG, respectively).

The equipment was manufactured in China by ZPMC Corporation under an agreement concluded at the Eastern Economic Forum in 2022.
Four RMG and three RTG loaders will operate in the warehouse complex, and two more RMG loaders will operate in the railway zone. The use of new cranes will allow operations to be completed 25% faster than using previously available equipment.
“We purchased new reloaders as part of an investment program aimed at increasing VSK’s throughput. “Global Ports” is consistently increasing the production capacity of its terminal in Vostochny port against the backdrop of an increase in container cargo turnover in the Far Eastern sea basin. By the mid-2030s, VSK will be able to handle up to 1.7 million TEU annually,” Albert Likholet, CEO of “Global Ports”, commented on the event.
