The design documentation and the results of engineering surveys for the new grain transshipment facility project planned by “FESCO Gaidamak Terminal LLC” in Vladivostok has been approved as a result of mandatory non-state expertise performed by “Masterstroitel LLC”. “Orenburgelevatormelmontazh LLC” prepared the project documentation. Information about this is posted in the Unified State Register of Expertise Conclusions on Design Documentation and Capital Construction Projects (GIS USRZ).
According to the materials for public discussions of the environmental assessment of the project, the facility will receive grain cargo delivered by trucks (no more than 80% of the total supply) and railway (20%), temporary store it and transship to sea and road transport. The design capacity of the facility is 600 thousand tons: 200 000 tons of soybeans and 400 000 tons of corn per year.
The facility will be located on the territory of the existing FESCO Gaidamak terminal. The design documentation provides for two stages of construction. At the first stage, a receiving hopper for the dam pit, a receiving unit from railway transport, a grain cleaning tower, a silo, an automobile weighing station and a grain loading area for sea transport will be constructed. The second stage will add two more silos.
Transportation of grain by sea will be carried out by dry cargo ships and bulk carriers with a deadweight of 3 000 – 7 000 tons docked to the existing floating berth at the terminal.
The FESCO Gaidamak terminal is located on the 43rd and 44th berths of the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port and provides stevedoring services to logistics, agency and trading companies. Specializes in transshipment of grain for export, processing of general cargo (automotive and special equipment, big bags, equipment, metal products and other cargo); provides storage of goods in warehouses and open areas. FESCO Gaidamak has been accredited by Rosselkhoznadzor for transshipment of regulated / quarantine products and provides storage of cargo in warm and cold covered warehouses.
